Autumn, Harvest time, and  “Törggele” time

It is harvest time in South Tyrol – and certainly one of the most beautiful seasons.  This is when the well-known South Tyrolean products such as speck, apples, and chestnuts, “Schüttelbrot”, local cheese, and Grappa come to the table at a “Toerggelen’.

And, of course, South Tyrolean Wine!  25 different varieties of grapes are grown here, and on only 5,000 hectares of land.  Experience South Tyrol, especially in autumn.
