While snow still covers the ground in other places, here, in the southern parts of South Tyrol, the land can have been in full blossom for a long time.   For here, on the southern slopes of the Alps, the sun quickly gains the upper hand and presents us with a broad range of available outdoor activities.  You can choose; whether jogging, cycling, or just walking, nature lures us everywhere with her charms.

And even in springtime, the engaging culture of southern South Tyrol awaits you in Auer/Ora.  There are spring and Easter band concerts, all types of different wine-related activities, Maypole celebrations, and other parties in the alpine meadows announcing the approach of summer.

Furthermore, don’t forget that spring here is asparagus time.  From April until the end of May come and enjoy the culinary delights fashioned around the fresh local asparagus.
